This could be called an adaptation of a Mai Tai. But I like to make myself feel special by saying that I came up with this all on my own. No photographs yet, but some are soon to follow-especially with the frequency with wich I will be consuming this tasty beverage.
1 oz. Almond liquor (Disarono, or other brand)
1/2 oz. Bacardi Oakhurst
1/2 oz. Pyrat Rum
2 ozs. Pineapple juice
Juice of half a lime
1/2 oz. Simple syrup
Optional: 1 teaspoon Grenadine
Pour everything but the Grenadine in a shaker. Shake. Pour into a glass of some sort. Or just straight into your mouth: whichever is easier. Add the Grenadine at the end (or drink it as a chaser).
